EGA60 Multi-sample soil respiration system
The EGA60 is a multi-channel soil respiration measuring system. A single EGA60 system is able to measure up to 24 soil samples.
The operator can program the system to measure each channel for a desired period of time before the multiplexer switches to the next sample.
Just before switching, the CO2 concentration is measured by infra-red gas analyser, along with the flow rate and the output of any other sensors connected to the 7 analogue inputs.
All of the resulting measurements are stored on the plug-in, SD memory card. When the experiment is concluded the SD card can be removed and plugged in to a card reader or SD card slot on a laptop PC. A high speed USB port is included for data transfer directly from the system.
